December 13, 2006
December 13, 2006 Agenda
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Ballard District Council is Wednesday, December 13, 7 PM at the Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW). This month's gathering will be a little special. We will not be conducting business or being briefed on major issues affecting the Ballard area. Instead, we are using this occasion to pay tribute to a few individuals and forces in Ballard which help to make this a great place to live, work, play, and do business. We will recognize a few of these local heros, partake in holiday food and drink, and generally celebrate the end of another exciting year here in Ballard. State Rep Mary Lou Dickerson will be our emcee. Door prizes, a slide show of Ballard images, music, and maybe a visit by Santa Claus will also be part of next Wednesday's event. Please join us and extend this invitation to members of your family as well as others in your organization. The Council's Executive Committee is providing refreshments, but we encourage you to bring your favorite holiday treat to share with others. We'd also be grateful if you would come next Wednesday with a food or cash donation to the Ballard Food Bank.
